In October 2022, your neighbors and the City of Sacramento got together and volunteered to plant 7 trees in Colonial Park. Prior to the tree planting event, tree holes were dug and refilled with an auger by the city. Tools were provided by the city. Check out everyone's hard work below!
Additions to the Colonial Park tree canopy:
- 4 Western Redbuds. Height 15-20 feet. Low water needs.
- 2 Willow Oaks. Height 50-65 feet. Low to moderate water needs.
- 1 Shantung Maple. Height 25-30 feet. Very low water needs.
