Holiday Cookie Exchange

On Thursday, December 4th, 2026, neighbors gathered at the annual Colonial Heights Neighborhood Association Holiday Cookie Exchange, a fun tradition that has been bringing the community together over the holidays. This year was filled with the delightful aromas of freshly baked cookies, laughter, and the warmth of friendship that defines the spirit of the season. The atmosphere was electric with joy, as families and friends reunited, sharing stories and creating lasting memories in a festive environment.

The concept behind the cookie exchange is simple: each participant is encouraged to bring a large batch of cookies, ideally homemade, to share with their neighbors. This not only allows everyone to showcase their baking talents but also fosters a sense of community and togetherness. As the evening progresses, attendees mingle and exchange cookies, creating a colorful display of holiday treats that reflects the diverse culinary traditions of the neighborhood. By the end of the event, everyone leaves with a delightful assortment of cookies, embodying the true spirit of holiday cheer and generosity.

This year, the cookie exchange was a resounding success, with an impressive amount of holiday cookies brought by our talented bakers. There were so many cookies that it almost seemed impossible to fit them all on the table!
