2023 Storms Devastate Our Neighborhood Trees

Colonial Heights was hit hard by the recent storms that devastated many parts of California. We had many trees come down throughout the neighborhood, flooded basements, and many lost power and internet throughout the storms. Even with everything going on, it was great to see neighbors out checking on each other, sharing tools, and lending a hand at clearing yards.

Since the start of the atmospheric rivers on December 26, 2022 through January 17,2023, the Sacramento area received 8.49 inches, with most of that rainfall occurring on New Year’s Eve, when 2.12 inches of rain fell.

Check out some of the images from around the neighborhood, one of our trees on 21st Avenue even made national news.
