On Saturday, October 5, 2024, Colonial Heights Neighborhood Association celebrated our second annual Colonial Parkfest, a free one-day music event in Sacramento's Colonial Heights neighborhood. This event celebrates community, inclusivity, fun, & music! This year we had 2 stages, 9 bands, local food trucks, local vendors, and local artists.
The event is sponsored and supported by:
Colonial Heights Neighborhood Association
SMUD
City of Sacramento
Office of Mayor Darrell Steinberg
The day started off with some amazing local food and craft vendors in the basketball court. Throught out the day our amazing lineup of local bands played alternating sets for neighbors to enjoy.
Our headliner, the Sugar Pushers, were a crowd favorite with their spooky costumes and funky beats. Loved by adult and children, we love having the Sugar Pushers close out the night.
We hope you can join us next year for another amazing day of local music in the park! This annual event has become a cherished tradition in our community, bringing together music lovers of all ages to celebrate the incredible talent of our local artists. From the moment the first note resonates through the air, a vibrant atmosphere fills the park, where friends and families gather to enjoy a diverse lineup of performances that showcase various genres. As you stroll through the park, you’ll find food vendors offering delicious local cuisine, craft booths displaying unique handmade items, and activities for children that ensure a fun-filled day for everyone. The sense of camaraderie and joy that permeates the air is truly infectious, as attendees dance, sing along, and create lasting memories. Mark your calendars and prepare for a day filled with exceptional music, delightful food, and the warm company of fellow community members. We can’t wait to see you there, celebrating the spirit of our local music scene and supporting the talented artists who contribute so much to our cultural landscape!
